He was born in Adana in 1950. After he had finished primary school, he started working as an assistant in a studio of a photographer.He went on doing this job until 1987. He was much more interested in photography so he started to work in Çukurova University as a photographer and a cameraman. He also worked as a cameraman for TRT ( Turkish Radio Television) between 1980-86. He was trained in photography in TRT and Anadolu University.
